Bright Matter Sports & Entertainment Announces Sale of Boston Imperials, Boston Bulldogs, and Boston Rockets to Little Rhody Hockey Club

Winchester, MA – January 14, 2026 – Bright Matter Sports & Entertainment, LLC proudly announces the sale of its three youth hockey organizations—the Boston Imperials, Boston Bulldogs, and Boston Rockets—to Little Rhody Sports LLC. This transition marks a significant milestone for all programs and ensures continued growth and opportunity for players and families across the region.  \

Since their inception, these clubs have been dedicated to player development, inclusion, and helping young athletes achieve their goals on and off the ice. Under the leadership of Dennis Franczak, Bright Matter Sports & Entertainment has built a legacy of excellence, preparing countless players for high school, college, and beyond.

Little Rhody Hockey Club, a respected leader in youth hockey, will assume ownership and operations of all three organizations effective immediately. Players and families can expect continuity, expanded resources, and a renewed commitment to skill development and community.

This sale allows Bright Matter to focus on iexpanding their work in entertainment, events, and music production. We are excited to channel our creative energy into delivering memorable experiences and supporting artists, events, and communities through our entertainment ventures.

The Boston Imperials name will be retired and the new club will be called the New England Sharks. The Boston Bulldogs brand shall remain under the new ownership. Tryout information will be posted shortly.
